Anyone ever experienced this before? Tried searching before posting but was not able to get a answer.

Dolphin recognizes my Wiimore correctly, I launch the game and am able to navigate the menus using the Wiimote, but when the actual game begins I get a message saying my Nunchuck is not connected (even though it is), so I remove and re-attach the nunchuck and the game begins, but ingame none of the wiimote buttons works.

I was never able to get my built-in ASUS bluetooth to work, so I had to purchase a dongle and bluesoleil, now my wiimote (genuine) is detected instantly and also by Dolphin.

I'm trying to play Xenoblade Chronicles. My Wii can't play this game since it's from USA so I had to go with Dolphin only for this game.

When I set Emulated Wiimote I can assign the buttons to the keyboard/mouse, is there a similar setting when using Real Wiimote, I thought this could be the reason but I can't find a configure screen for the life of me.

Here's what I tried already:

1. Pressing ALT F5 several times
2. Setting Port 1 as Nothing on Gamepad Options

a) Specs:
CPU: Intel I5-2500k
Mobo: Asus P8P67
RAM: 8GB
GPU: Radeon HD 6950 2GB with latest drivers
Operating System: Win 7 64 bits and also tried on Win XP 32 bits and got the same results

b) Latest Dolphin release from the site, version 3.0.

c) Dolphin settings: Anything in particular? Have Real Wiimote set correctly and changed some graphic options

Thank you.
Anyone please? I'm playing with keyboard + mouse and it's frustratring..
Xenoblade only came out in Europe, unless they secretly got released in the USA.
Could you post a screenshot of your controller settings?
I imported the PAL version. That's why I can't play in my US Wii..

Is this the screenshot you need or anything else? I'm assuming the Emulated Wiimote is not needed since I'm using the Real Wiimote setting. Like I said I can't find any other controller settings screen or I'm just plain crazy...

I see you played Xenoblade also, you didn't run into this issue?
Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated.

I'm at a loss at why this happens, tried everything
No, I played it with a PS3 controller, hooked up the Classic controller extension in Dolphin with it.

I have never used a real wii-mote for Dolphin yet, so I can't really help with specifics.
For verification purposes, have you tried running any other game with the real wiimote settings? If so, do they work properly?
Well, I do have a PS3 so I can try using the controller also, does it play good with the controler? Can you give me some more info on how to set it? Like, did you use motionjoy or something? And also Dolphin's settings you used.

PS: Don't have other games so can't try at the moment.

THanks a lot Garteal. Smile
Yes, it works perfect with the controller!

First you have to download MotionInJoy. (follow the guide on it to make it work with your controller, if you can't figure it out, don't hesitate to ask)
When you have MotionInJoy opened, (after you set it up, loaded the drivers for it etc), I suggest you use the "Playstation 2 (POV, joysticks)" setting. That worked fine for me.
Don't forget to hit enable underneath!

In Dolphin setup an emulated wiimote, with a classic extension plugged in. Don't forget to change the input device!
Then you can map your buttons.

For reference see the attachment.
If you hate MotioninJoy that much (requires internet, stupid ads, and had to press "enable" button every time you want to use PS3 controller for something) then you can switch over to BtSix. However BtSix is harder to set up if you're new to it.

I use BtSix over MotioninJoy because I want to be able to just press PS button and it will become ready (especially after logon screen) for anything on my computer.
Nice garteal. Gonna give it a try tomorrow.

I had MotionJoy installed until I tried to make Wiimote work then I had to unninstall it and WHAT A PAIN it is to unninstall it. My builtin BT refused to be configured correctly after motionjoy, I ended up buying Bluesoleil.

Will revert back to you on how things goes.

@Lucario, I won't try BtSix for now as you said it's harder to set up and I got MotionJoy working correctly in the past (played metal gear 3 emulated with it)

Thanks again.
