I am thinking of pairing my Wii remote & Nunchuk (sp?) with my PC so I can play my Wii games with Dolphin. I am getting a USB Bluetooth dongle, but I am wondering how it will follow my motions without a sensor bar? Do I need a sensor bar & a bluetooth dongle? Will my regular Wii sensor bar work with my PC? It doesn't look like it fits into any spot on my PC. Any info on using a Wii remote with just a USB Bluetooth dongle would be greatly appreciated. I don't understand how it can track my motions without any sensor bar accessory. Also, what exactly do GlovePie & Soliel (sp?) do? Do I need them to play with my Wii remote?

Thanks.
Yes you need a sensor bar for it to track your moves. You can also try to make one yourself, you can find some idea's here. Or you could use candles... but... becareful lol.
Iirc you don't need GlovePie or BlueSoleil for Dolphin, simply select 'Real Wii-Mote' from the dropdown and map the buttons.
You don't need a Wiimote for motion tracking on most games (shooters excepted). For example, Tennis in Wii Sports works fine without a pointer.

Where can I buy a sensor bar that works with a PC? I mainly need motion controls for the manta ray race in SMG1 and I heard that it is needed to open doors in Metroid Prime 3. Also, I think Mario Party 8 may require motions (I haven't played it in ages, so I don't remember for sure). I read that some older revisions of Dolphin have a pitch option for controllers (I think the revision has to allow plugins to be selected). What is the newest revision of Dolphin that can do plugins?
You don't need the pointer for Manta Ray surfing. Also, if you just need it for a second you can enable hybrid Wiimote and clear all options except for the pointer.

How do I configure the controls for the Manta Ray surfing? I also need help figuring out how to configure the controls for the stars that are inside a ball (where you have to get the ball to an end hole to release the star).

I don't see any roll or pitch options in my Dolphin. BTW, I am using Dolphin 3.0 64-bit revision 179 (which I think is the newest version).

hi everyone
i'm new to this whole dolphin emulator thing so please forgive me if i ask any stupid questions

i just downloaded this emulator(the latest version), and i have an original wiimote(wiimote plus) which i've just recently bought. i was able to connect the wiimote, but when i start the game, at the bottom of the main window, it says that my wiimote is not connected(or it will say connecting... forever), and when i press a button from the wiimote, i get no response. the LED on the wiimote is 'on' the entire time. is it something wrong with the emulator, or my wiimote is faulty?

also, another question, if i have a wireless sensor bar + wiimote + nunchuck, i should be able to play right? or are there any other configurations that i need to change in the emulator first?

Would be also interesting in, if its possible in any way to use the nunchuck?!
