im getting a laptop with Intel Core i5-2410M and a GT 555M GPU with 4gb ram will this run any wii games well, not worry'd about rez or graphix just want to be able to play them at a good speed as my wii is got a major overheated Gpu problem and i get artifacts every where
It will run ok. Most wii games will run well but the heavier ones like SMG2 will have slowdowns.
For anyone who needs to look up the specs for that particular cpu model I'll save you the time:
2 cores with hyperthreading
Default clock rate: 2.3GHz
Max turbo clock rate: 2.9GHz (2.6GHz in dual core mode)
3MB L3 cache
Well to be honest im not expecting smg2 to run that well (If at all) but what you reckon will it be playable? and how about DKCR as this is the only new game i havent played because my wii has become unplayable
DKCR test on my laptop : 35 - 40 FPS (Playable)
Config : 1366x768 , no AA , AF 16x , Internal Res : Auto (multiple of XXX x YYY) , EFB copy to texture
I5 2410m should have the same FPS
Edit : Right-click the iso and tick "Vbeam emulation" ,it gain 5-10 FPS (45-50 FPS)
Buy a cooling pad in case of overheating
