Audio backend: No audio output

I tried that now, no changes

I used to use that trick but it only works with older versions where disabling the audio can happen in-game thus resetting the time code of the audio and re-synching it back correctly

So basicly I sat through the whole cutscene before Windfall Island with DSP LLE re-compiling and I got my Dump audio on. That worked wonders!
Hey guys

This is an old thread of mine from a while back. And I did beat Wind Waker on Dolphin after fiddling with some settings and reading some of the responses I got back in the day (start of the thread).

In my playthrough, there were two key moments in which I could not advance due to the black screen of death:

- After Windfall Island boss, Deku Tree cutscene
- Second visit to Forsaken Fortress, before the fight with the big bird

Now, I dealt with those two in different ways.

On the first one, I swapped Dolphin 3.0 for r7719 version. It broke pretty much every other game I'd try, but I passed the cutscene alright. All I had to do was save and then swap Dolphin back to 3.0.

On the second one, I actually had to use DSP LLE. I don't know about you guys and your specs, but my rig slowed down a lot with it on. So I just made sure to get to a point where I could save and then switched back.

Hope to have been of help. Like I said, I managed to beat Wind Waker on Dolphin like this. I'm hoping to be able to do this again someday, but without jumping through all of those hoops. Upscaled on a 1080p HDTV, Wind Waker becomes *the* most beautiful game I've ever played, in all generations.

well i may have a solution... and it worked for me till now.

play with DSP HLE normally then when you finish the boss and the "wind trail" appears, save the game and restart dolphin with DSP LLE .
when you load the game you'll start at the entrance of the dungeon. the boss will be dead and you'll just have to get back to the "wind trail" area.

ps : sorry for the bad english[/code]

Hi!

My black screen problem occurs in The Forest Heaven after getting the second pearl. When I'm returning to this Big Tree and cut scene is playing, after it finishes screen turns black and there is nothing i can do. I've got only this save just before cut scene ends, where those little creatures are flying in the air. I tried diffrent solutions with "Fix Item hack", changing the sound to LLE but not during gameplay. My last "Memory Card" save was on Windfall island or whatever, so i'm quite angry because of this black screen problem. Will somebody fix this someday!!? If not there should be savegames for every level after cutscene in the game here to download. Or maybe there is 100% solution for this problem ?
Try dolphin 3.0 with LLE audio
Or use Dolphin 3.0 and disable Audio Throttle

I was using 3.0-424 or something rev and it says in 3.0 that it cannot load state from other revisions so i won't know if it going to help me Sad I know it's my fault i didn't use "oryginal" saving system but it should work anyway. Somebody has a save after defeating forest heaven boss?
Can't you just save it at that point if it is before the crash?
Zelda Wind Waker needs to have some combination of EFB copies to RAM / XFB / Real XFB / EFB access to be emulated without crashes or w/e. Not sure if that's related to your issue though.
