Never thought i'd be making such a newbie-ish thread, but anyway i just performed my annual OS format and i need someone to help me with the usual links for getting dolphin to open, anyway dolphin right now says 'the program cant start because XINPUT1_3.dll is missing from your computer", i'm sure others will follow once i fix this. You have to update DirectX
Sounds like you forgot to reinstall
DirectX.

OMG, i spent nearly 5 hours installing softwares back and i 4got the most important one, i'll install directx now
Yeah, update DirectX and install Visual C++ Redistributable 2010. That should do it.
Alright, updated DirectX and installed Visual C++ Redistributable and Dolphin is up and running. Thanks Guys
