Ok, thanks for the help so far guys.

Looks like i might be able to get an overclocked i5 within budget (£600ish inc. monitor), here's what i have so far. (Pre-Tax prices)

1 x MSI P67A-GD53 (B3) P67 Socket 1155 8 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard 261288 £91.28 £91.28
1 x Intel Core i5 2500K 3.3GHz Socket 1155 6MB Cache Retail Boxed Processor 251596 £141.24 £141.24
1 x Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1333MHz Memory Kit Unbuffered CL9 178943 £15.80 £15.80
1 x KFA2 GTS 450 1GB DDR3 DVI VGA HDMI PCI-E Graphics Card 278119 £65.18 £65.18
1 x Samsung HD103SJ Spinpoint F3 1TB Hard Drive SATAII 7200rpm 32MB Cache 173804 £33.32 £33.32
1 x LG GH22NS70 22x DVD±RW with DL & RAM SATA Optical Drive - OEM Black 263923 £11.62 £11.62
1 x Coolermaster Elite 330 Case With Coolermaster eXtreme Power 500W PSU 220863 £47.22 £47.22
1 x Corsair A50 Socket Intel 775, 1156,1155, 1366 AMD AM2 AM3 Performance CPU Cooler 226441 £20.55 £20.55

Anyone see any issues/bottlenecks/low quality parts there?

Also, it seems i can get a Radeon 6770 for the same price as the GTS40, looking at Benchmarks the 6770 looks better, but i'm not really sure what i'm looking at, anyone confirm my suspicions?
Never been a big fan of MSI motherboards (I prefer ASUS, gigabyte, or EVGA) or KFA graphics cards (I prefer EVGA, XFX, ASUS, MSI, or gigabyte).

It is really important that you get a good power supply. The power supplies that come with computer chassis tend to suck. Buy your case and power supply seperately and get a decent 500 watts (preferably 550W) or higher PSU from a reputable brand like Antec, OCZ, corsair, seasonic, cooler master, etc.

And yes a 6770 is faster than a GTS 450, although not by much.
Yeah, the KFA GTS 450 has been swapped out for an Asus 6770, near as makes no difference the same price, so might as well.

I believe the Case & Power Supply are seperate, they're just bundled together as a package by ebuyer, I could be wrong though. It's a cooler master branded PSU and the reviews i've looked at state it can reach the stated wattage. Is there more to consider than that?
Well first of all 500 watts is a bit low. Your current setup will run on 500 watts but BARELY. 550-650watts would be a lot more future proof. Also the particular PSU you listed is an older model cooler master that has sub-par reviews.

I would also seriously consider changing the motherboard. I think you'll find an asus/gigabyte/evga z68 motherboard more satisfying.

That one appears to have the best reviews out of the three you listed. And also has some good bundle/combo deals available that are relevant to you.
