There is no reason to think that Skyward Sword is not going to be compatible or playable. In the rare case that there is something wrong with it, I'm sure it will be looked at very quickly and someone will try to make it work soon after.

Without going into too much detail, a good video card would be the HD5850, HD5970, HD6850 or the HD6950.

Dolphin is an awesome piece of software. Can't wait for Skyward Sword!

So an i5 + ATI HD6950 would work then. Perfect.

With a E8400@3.6GHz, 8GB DDR2 800MHz, and a HD6950@6970 (ASUS overclock bios); what games would present problems for me at 1080p? For those games, would I be able to turn off minor things to have the game play at full speed while looking nice?

SMG (super mario galaxy), SMG2, sonic colors will slowdown a bit on some levels, just to think of a few off the top of my head.
