Use your task manager and end any process that is using the too much processor power
Update: i've ran MSconfig, and used selective start up to boot windows with just the system services and with none of the programs i had starting up at the start up of windows starting up, i started dolphin with zoids vs. 3, went to the title screen 1 second into it and the speed dropped from 200% to 5 % again. so it didn't work. Sad
thats not a drop...
that looks like misconfiguration
but i dont know the game sry...

Use your cpu meter gadget to check if 80% of the cpu is still being used

What about other games? Same thing? Maybe this game doesn't work correctly after all but there are 4 stars on the wiki page so... Give your settings
Neither Accurate Vbeam nor MMU fixed it.

I'm using Core Temp to check and both CPUs show a load between 3% and the highest i'm seeing is between the 30s and 40s %. With the emulator running the game the load reaches 100% again.

yeah i tried other games and the same thing happened, all games i have used with the emulator used to work just fine, SSBB used to reach full speeds with certain stages, Zoids Full Metal Crash had speed boosts sometimes running a bit too fast same for Smash brothers melee, it happened recently all of a sudden.

My Dolphin configs are the following:

Direct3D9 running at 1280x800 my screen resolution, i've checked the Render to Main Window box.

Enhancements I've set the internal resolution to 1x Native, Anti-Aliasing set to None, Ansiotropic Filtering set to 1x and i've checked the Scaled EFB Copy i actually didn't touch this came by default.

In the hacks i have checked the ignore format changes box, set EFB copies to texture. The accuracy of the texture Cache is set to fast but not fully, the external Frame Buffer is disabled

Then i got Fast mipimaps and Disable Per-Pixel Depth both checked, and i'm not using any of the advanced settings.

I've disabled sound, i've enabled Dual Core and Enable Idle Skipping, disabled Frame limit and i'm using JIT Recompiler i'm also using the Panic Handlers. these are the settings i was using before the speed loss happened. Sometimes i switched between Direct3D9 and DirectRD 11 but that was all i did because depending on the game i'd get better speeds with one or the other.
I still haven't found the edit Button.

I've got an update i accidently unchecked the Enable DTK music in the sound settings and the Vs 3 got a significant speed boost, get over 100% in the menus but drops to 5% during gameplay.
Disable Rander to main window. Also, do you have Audio throttle enabled ? If yes, disable that and enable Auto frame skipping.

How are your sound options ?

I have disabled Render to main window.

My sound options settings are

DSP HLE emulation checked.

DTK MUSIC, DSP LLE on Thread, Audio Throttle and Dump Audion disabled.

No audio output on Adio Backend, and the Sample Rate is set to 48000Hz.

No changes in speed during gameplay so far. The menus are still running between 100 and 200+% everything else, the FMV intros and gameplay all drop between 30% and 40%
Something weird is going on, download the official 3.0 x64 build from the main page (not the newer revisions)

Put it in its own folder and keep the settings as clost to default as possible, only change resolution and if needed controls for starters.
