I actually use Dolphin as a substitute for my GameCube and Wii satisfaction.
And it is with confidence I say this because it works so bloody good he he and the image quality is one of the reasons with the main reason being having all games collected at one place, no disc switching all the time.
I tend to change games a lot when I play so I'm glad that all I have to to is hit a stop button and load a new game.
Also I tend to emulate all sorts of different systems like the PSX, PS2 etc. so having it all on one system is very convenient not forced to have 2-3 consoles hooked up.
And if you collect games it's great having them in good condition but still get to play them not tearing on the value.
Emulators have changed my way in playing games completely the last couple of years enhancing the experience to the maximum with all the neat options and settings that is available.
Sometimes emulation takes the console experience even higher making them superior.
I use Dolphin mainly for my (huge

) collection of GC games and I thank Dolphin for that. If you travel a lot like I do emulators become essential if you wanna be able to play your games. But I agree with Runo I wouldn't play a game on Dolphin if I haven't played it before on GC/Wii. Actually these are two different pleasures : discover the game on the real system is one and be able to play it wherever and whenever you want is another one

Well unfortunately GC/Wii are unpopular in my region, i bought a wii like a 2 years ago but like 5 months ago i come back home and my brother tells me its nowhere to be found

(i wonder how the hell you lose a whole game console in a house) since then i've stuck most to my dolphin and GC/Wii games are not popular here either so i have to ask the guy at the local game store to order it for me and i buy it from him, so looks like for me, i'll be dolphining it but hopefully with a new rig

Sorry for all the off-topic here

But I got curious of which region you live in that the Wii is unpopular?
Here in Sweden, a Wii is easily obtained with little effort finding one.
Games in general even super rare games I can find very easily.
I don't call this off topic, its like a waiting room while we don't have news on Zelda to discuss, things are pretty slow, and November is taking too much time to arrive
@Maverick
Yeah don't get me wrong, I find playing games on Dolphin really enjoyable, as well as a bunch of other emulators I have
What I meant before is exactly what Vador said:
Its like two different pleasures for me, console and emu experience

On topic now tough ^^
I think the disk will be single layer but not sure. I searched a bit on this but found nothing, meh.

Well that's strange, I wonder why.
Nintendo is pretty big and I've never heard something like this before.
Maybe the Nintendo 64 wasn't selling as good as they hoped in west Africa and then decided to not buy in large shipments of future Nintendo consoles.
Well, I've started with emus back in the good old Genesis days. My console was broken and I never had the chance to finish some of my games. With emus it was finally possible to finish some games I never was able to. Searching cheats and playing around with codes to make your character fly or things you've always wanted to do when you were in the real console. That's the main reason I use emus.

No I think it comes out for the Wii unless the Dolphin team have been secretly developing this game.
I would suggest starting playing the game on the real Wii first, since the game might not even be working when it's released.
It might not even start in Dolphin.
I would be very very surprised if it worked perfect on the first try.
