A game can only go as fast as what your computer can handle. If you only get 175% maximum on lowest settings then there's not much you can do.

did you even read the first post?

Yeah but too fast Big Grin Btw it looks blasphemous to me to skip an intro or a cutscene etc in a game

Well I like to skip cutscenes when I see them for the 100th time Big Grin

Yes I agree but in RPGs for example it's Heresy to skip them. Of course you rarely play a RPG 100 times so I suppose it's a little bit different Wink

Rarely? :O Good RPGs deserve to be played over 100 times Tongue

Yeah but how many times are you gonna play your favorite RPG in your entire life? Several times I'm sure of that but certainly not 100 times. And there are so much good RPGs that an entire life wouldn't be enough to play all of them even once... Wink
Haha, I'll play my favorite RPG's whenever I -forget- a bit about the story/plot. Yeah, I think 100 is a bit exaturated -- But you never know! Tongue
It's easily achieveable if we just play it again when we beat it, but then there's no fun in it.
Where/what are all the good RPGs? Tongue

The only good RPG's I know of are just a few franchises and a few gems here and there.
If we merge each franchise, and count how many these are; you can easily count them with your fingers.

It's true now but in the past there were plenty of great RPGs. But I can't be really objective I explain when I was younger (Tongue) I used to play ONLY RPGs or 95% at least. I got my first computer to play RPGs and I bought my first console to play RPGs too my first game on NES was Legend of Zelda (Not really a RPG but can be considered as one though) and I even wished I could talk japanese to play more of them... Years passing by I played other games I can thank my brother for this I would've missed so much other good games Wink

I agree, in the past, alot of the games were developed with heart and soul. Now you have an occasional gem (Xenoblade<3).

Yeah, LoZ is actually an RPG, but I guess people like to call it an 'Action/Adventure' game.
Haha yes, the Japanese folks got alot of great games which never made it outside. T_T
They're pretty hard to find nowadays aswell (unless you visit AVGN and browse his collection lol).

I hope you didn't miss out the great classics on the NES: Battle of Olympus, Faxanadu to name some :3.

Ah.. not to be a party popper... but... I think we're kinda spamming now lol. Might aswell create our own thread in Delfino Plaza Tongue
I know where you're coming from. I'm currently finishing up my seventh playthrough of Tales of Symphonia, and though it is a darn good game there are sections that I wouldn't mind fast-forwarding through. You'd need a monster of a machine to get any worthwhile speedup, though. I can get to about 150% with my rig in areas.
