So 2 years ago I had this letter from the military blah blah we will call you in for an evaluation session later this year, after I had answered their questionnaire.

But I never got called in, although they did say otherwise, so I figured they just did fine without me, since only like 15-20% of people serve military here, and on the questionnaire they asked stuff like, "do you really want to join the military?" which I said no, so I thought that's probably the reason.

This year however, I just started studying physics on university, and they send me this letter I am now called in for an evaluation session on October 6th, among 25 000 of 60 000 (means I am already in the top 42%... o_O ) .

Now they will evaluate my health, but they already asked for allergies and eyesight in the questionnaire I think (which I have both -2 eyesight and pollen allergies) so I guess these won't be decisive factors.

So I am pondering whether my weak physical strength and slight underweight will save me from getting sent to the army... or should I play dumb on the IQ test just in case (I don't want that cause I love IQ tests)

I don't know how the military system is in Norway but here in France young people are no more fucked with military stuff they just got one day where they're sensibilized to "your country needs you" then they sign or not. It has changed a few years ago in my (old ) time we had "the pleasure" to spend several months to play the small soldiers

I kind of find myself in a similar situation but at stage 1, Parents want me to join a military academy but i don't wanna i dont know how to get outta this and the only option for me to get outta this is starting to look like DEATH

@extreme : that would be funny
@ blaze : i think your parents have a reason to send you to the military. so just go. you'll either get back better or get back as a psycho depending on your personality etc etc.

Meh that's tough bro :/, Luckily I got dismissed from mine a couple of weeks ago

I just exaggerated some of the answers in my questionnaire when I did it a couple of years ago, they didn't want me after that. XD I think the Swedish system is fairly similar to how you guys do it in Norway, so hopefully once they realize you spend more time playing Dolphin than hanging out in the gym they'll let you off.
