Yeah but online multiplayer is rarely cracked. That's why Ubisoft tried to do that for assassin's creed 2, they figured they could use the same kind of scenario there is on online multiplayer to play single player, preventing piracy. But the problem is the connection isn't REALLY required to single player mode, just they made the software require it, and software can aways be cracked. Again, cloud gaming?

Yea I guess we are far from finding a solution for this puzzle, that if it even exists. meh.

basically SSF4:AE restricted the fuck out of the game in irritating ways
1) only training mode and arcade mode are available. maybe 2p game too idk
2) the char choice was limited to only 16 char i think. thats half the char disabled and iirc they were irritating char that they had enabled
