Played the SMG1/2 all the way through, my previous 100%'ed games. DKC I stopped near the end, (partly because I was to lazy to farm back up a supply of lives after losing all of them though). Not many games I really enjoy a lot (Most big western games like Mass Effect/Bioshock/Read Dead Redemption didn't held my interest... seems like gameplay problem mostly, Mass Effect was too much sections of just cover and fire, Bioshock was not bad really, kinda like Metroid Prime, but lacking puzzles, Red Dead Redemption same as Mass Effect, while there is plenty of good story/graphics etc., the main action segments are just cover and fire shooting.

Seems like you need to play Dead Space, or maybe GTA. Have you tried the Witcher?

I heard this a lot about apple, that is, before the ipod.
I feel much the same way. I'm not sure if it's just me having grown up or if the industry's turning crap, but this casual gamer frenzy that Nintendo's been in recently is quite frustrating. They had such an amazing 3rd party support back in the nineties and even during the GameCube era, but it's nowhere to be found now.

When 50% of games are casual games and the other 40% are EA games, the last 10% seems so much less satisfying.
