hi there
i new to this forum and to Dolphin emulator
so far i only download this emulator because i want to play Tales of Symphonia
but i have one problem atm... i don't know how to save...
can anyone help me?
+ i know it maybe not be related to the topic but i have 3 more questions (i don't want to spam more posts for these so plz let me put it all here)
1. i use Dolphin emulator version 3.0 for win7 32 bit
is there any new version or better version that i should know about?
2. Tales of Symphonia have 2 CDs... in some point it will ask me to put CD 2... how do i do it? because the emulator turn off the "open" option when i play the game, so putting CD2 is impossible...
3. can someone plz tell me what the best settings for Tales of Symphonia ?
i heard that alot of people got alot of random problems in that game depend on their hardware and settings , so i want some experts help in this so i won't encounter the same problems they do and kill my game experience

WIN 7 ULTIMATE 32 BIT
GEFORCE 295 GTX
INTEL I7 860
4 GB RAM
MOTHERBORED: ASUS P7P55D

thank you, as for the save problem i found some "CARD FILES" to put in the CG floder on my own but i still don't understand why dolpihn not put these files with their downloads to begin with...
1. what do u mean by "subjective" ? is there some other builds that will be better with my hardware?
2. thx , but as i said.. this option is off... i can't press it no matter how much i trying, and when i launch a game i can't look in the emulator menu at all.. so how do i change the CDs then? : O
it also seem that for same reason the emulator is auto detect my screen resolution even when i told it to stop.... it just do it again when i reopen it....
3. i allready look in wiki and in the thread that in the game Discussion... they not really helped me because the user who open the thread used other build or older version of dolpin which i don't have, the settings he used are placed in totally different locations in version 3.0 and some of them are usuless because version 3.0 fix most of the stuff. but there still some problems like random crashs, drop of fpss, bad music, and more stuff that make the game works fast-slow in my pc randomly , now now ... i know that this is emulator and it can't make miracles (i need to thank it for running older games such as this at all) , but from users replys it seem that the game was working for them far better then it for me...
can i also ask one more question plz? does Tales of Symphonia New dawn works in this emulator too?
1. Some guys prefer other revisions (recent or older) but I mainly use 3.0 my games usually work fine with it
2. Change the disc when the game asks for it the option should be on
3. Default settings should do the job only sound sucks
And yes TOS New Dawn works

btw i saw that you test games in Dolphin and instruct people what the settings that was fine for you, i also saw your list but not found TOS xD
why don't u try theses game(TOS+ DOTNW) ?
u may love them if u like RPG games, personally really like "Tales of" games because i gamer and otaku and they let u the feeling that u in some anime with really nice story
well at least it was right for other tales of i played such as Tales of the abyss, tales of versperis, and Tales of gerass.... , TOS seem pretty bored and limit compred to them :\ but that to be expect from old games

Of course but I usually use default settings to test I adjust if special setting is needed I don't use enhancements. When I play it's another story of course...

well in TOS i use the default settings (i only change the keys lol) and i even not touch the resolution.... but the game keep crash at random times, it can be minutes, it can be hours but it eventually 100% will crash.. even when i press the "x" button to close the progrem it most of the times being "close" by "not responding" message.
the game today crash for me 2 times at the very same spot.. and i start to worry that i won't be able to proceed it, also it seem that the music has something to do with it because most of the crashs that occur for me pop up right after the music start to mess up again. it also seem that any little process that open in the test manger and etc make the game to crash...
maybe it has something to do with Dolphin not fully supported 4 cores or multi gpus...
