You decide whether it's playable or not. If a game is optimized for say 60FPS, and if you run it at 50% (30fps), the game will literally be in half-speed.

Wait for benchmarks. Look at single thread integer IOP/s, memory I/O, and floating point GFLOP/s as a basis for comparison.

No I meant if it's really running in half speed (like slow-mo) or if it's just 30FPS feeling against 60FPS feeling.
