Instructions Per Cycle

And you think I can get SMG2 to run at 100%? It runs at 60FPS originally, does it?
Nope , my i5 480M (2.9Ghz on 2 core) only get 40 FPS at 1366x768 , AA4x. Get i5 2410m (2.7ghz)or i7 2630m(2.8Ghz) for 45-50 FPS ...who know
Dolphin isn't PC games , the higher clock speed the better FPS (as someone said before) , Sandy Bridge 2.1ghz is enough for GC games but not for Wii games

you wont ran smg2 with 2.1GHZ... @60fps

i5/i7 sandybridge on a desktop PC needs above 3.2ghz power to do this..

stop asking, there is no way to play mario on that laptop

Man, you are such a friendly person. Awesome. Smile
In his defense, some people told him it would be "fine". Looking at the Wiki page (looky looky) people with far beefier machines have trouble running this 100% all the time. Seph you are out of luck with that laptop.
iam hating people who are asking after a notebook which plays dolphin fine...
THERE IS NONE
It'd play dolphin fine, but of course, there's always that game where you just need raw processing power to play.

For the record, I was doing fine with Athlon X2 before, and his so-called laptop CPU has far better IPC compared to it.

there's also people with weaker machine there that reported the game to be perfect (i.e. E5300 & HD3650 IS weaker than OP laptop, FYI).

"Perfect,30~60VPS"
That's certainly not perfect. At least not in the speed category. Maybe he meant accurate emulation. Who knows.

A notebook which plays Dolphin VERY fine maybe not but a notebook which plays Dolphin ONLY fine it's possible Tongue I could get some GC games working on an "old" Toshiba of course it wasn't hi quality and it wasn't SMG2 Big Grin

So you are hating may because I'm asking about a topic where I have no knowledge in? A topic which, in it's essence, really belongs in this board. A board which you are a member of by choice?

Sounds like a smart thing to say, mate. Really smart!

@the rest

As I see, seems like there is no real consense. I'll just try around and let you guys know if the results are satisfying or not.
