720p will work nicely too , i think ... but 480 , definitely !
Hm, yeah, but Mario Galaxy 2 and Skyward Sword are almost the only games I'm interested in.

They don't even run fine @480p?
And what does that mean 60 to 70% speed? That would be sub 30fps and therefore wouldn't be playable at all...
Is there any way to test the performance like with demos and stuff? I'd like to know how and if it works before I invest all that money...
There's tests, synthetic and games (but these results will only reflect PC usage, not emulation), but how are you going to test it o.o'?
If you're planning to play MG2... you're out of luck, it's most likely going to be slow. Not sure about Skyward Sword

but I can imagine it being pretty heavy aswell. But we'll see...
Uhm? If there are demo versions of games I can just test them how they are running on my notebook. If I buy a wii now and the games I want to try, I spent like 200€ for nothing if it's not working.
Lol my bad, I mixed up a few threads. There's no demo's GC or Wii games, I'm afraid you'll have to purchase the games to test them.
PS: If you're getting a Wii... why don't you just play on that?
Because the GFX are awful.

I'd only buy a Wii + games if I can play them on my PC...but yeah, if there are no demos I'm out of luck I guess. I won't buy...like we say in germany...the cat in a bag.

Look ... op ... your first question was if you can play @ native resolution ! ?
So on your Pc @ native resolution , it will be the same image quality than the one on your TV !

I meant the native resolution of my notebook.

That's like 1300 x 768.
It'll be fine, even though the clock speed is a little low, the IPC is better than most other CPU out there.

What's a "IPC"? Sadly there is no way to overclock the CPU a bit, seems like it's locked with this i3.
