okay i want to run sonic colors fast my current pc just run in 18 fps 19 these are my pc aspects
processor: intel core 2 duo e8200 2.666 ghz
video card: nvidia gforce 9800 gt
ram: 3gb
windows 7
motherboard: biostar g31d- m7
what i need to change to run sonic colors in 25 or 30 fps
Buy a better CPU or just overclock your e8200 to 3.4ghz

When you start up your PC , you see a bios screen right ? (biostar or sth) .Press F12 or delete or anything you see in that screen to go to bios . Find the "FSB" then change the value
For example (my CPU) FSB = 275 , Multiplier = 13
275 x 13 = 3575 --> CPU speed is 3.6Ghz .If your pc can't boot then change the value lower
For beginner , 3.0ghz is safe OC
...If you know what you're doing . I don't know your motherboard support overclocking or not
do you think that buying a intel core 3 its going to work
there is no core 3.
there's the i3/i5/i7 CPUs (meaning you need to buy a new CPU and possibly a new motherboard), or you can overclock (like admin89 advised), or play on a wii, or you can live with the slow speeds
but do you think buying a i3 will run fast
