I liked the 1080 Avalanche song, suits a snowboard game pretty well.
Songs that fit a game get's you more pumped up.

When I first heard Blaze Heatnix song in Mega Man X6 I wind up dying more because of headbanging then of actually getting somewhere.

Music is one of the most important things in a game.

That was unexpected Smile But it's a worthy one.
Here's what it would sound if it was used with real instruments today:

Nice Maverick! Didn't know about this song Big Grin

It's quite well made and this kind of quality in music could have been real with the SNES CD addon that was in the stages which later became Sony PlayStation.

there is never any heavy metal in games.
regular metal at most
like this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sayGb0MMS_k (this is actually, technically , techno as im sure there were no guitars or drums involved in the making of that track)

Yeah you're probably right that it's not Heavy metal, but it sounds cooler Smile

The Mega Man X games sure have some good tunes that's for sure (just checked the link)
X4-X6 for the PSX have all been my favourites and a joy to play because of the music which is mostly provided by real instruments.
I've been dreaming of a killing black/death metal soundtrack but I guess I still can dream for a long Big Grin

If it's Slipknot, Entombed, Pessimist, Cannibal Corpse or any other high class band then count me in on that.

Wait till I start setting up my new rig during this week, then I might do some videos, and we we'll divide history in two: before you saw good ol' Runo playing Brawl, and after that Tongue

Seriously now, I'm may not be the best out there, surely not the best on the forums, but I'm sure far better than the average, specially in Street Fighter IV Big Grin

I think it's so hard to tell the difference in some songs.
To me it sounded like heavy metal, but I have been wrong before.

I tried to find a comparison of metal and heavy metal on YouTube but only found some other stuff.
