He's asking what to do to fix the red square behind the crosshair.

Looks like that's the way it's supposed to be.

if you look closely theres a faint red box surrounding the crosshair (and another box inside)

post your specs

Not getting this issue with 3.0, use that. Maybe one day someone will make a topic and actually provide some information.

I can confirm no such issue with 3.0
