*sigh*
Welp, I was afraid of that.
Those IDE ports woulda been nice to have.
Before I get the h61, is Gigabyte's GTX 260 AT ALL viable?
If not, then ok.
Still love how tolerant you are.

No. We already discussed this. I will keep giving you the same advice no matter how many times you ask "well what about this?". The build is flawless for the budget as far as I'm concerned. You can keep asking more questions for for the sake of curiosity and learning more, but as far as recommended parts are concerned my answers are unlikely to change.

Alright, okay.
H61 + 2400 + gts 450 it is.
Any other advice on less necessary parts, etc?
....sigh....back to the list (can't even remember what page it's on anymore)
You can find your discussion on the GTX 260 on page 22:

If you're buying the ram yourself than that means you can afford the H67 with a GTS 450 or the H61 with a GTX 550 TI. Otherwise yes you have to do GTS 450 + H61. Either way it comes out to about $494 before shipping. That's assuming that combo deal is available on newegg.ca and not just newegg.com.
I can't believe I posted a DDR3 GTS 450, I honestly didn't realize that until you made me go back and find the post. I went ahead and replaced the card with the correct one. It's still the same price and now includes a GDDR5 GTS 450.

I'm not Canadian.
Actually, I was referring to safety measures, sound cards, extras like that.
And with how prices are, I could do : Asus/Gigabyte gtx 550 + i5 2300 + H61.
or gts 450 + i5 2400 + h61.

You don't have the budget necessary for that, you simply can't afford it.
Talking about later...
Also, turns out the RAM thing is a bust so...
Budget is $520. Still, pretty close.
How odd.. The total is $536 on my end.
Even so.. If the GT 440 GDDR5 can do 3x then I'd be okay with that.
But of course, I bet you'll disagree on how questionable an idea that is.
25 pages, huh? By the time you guys settle on something there will be a new breakthroughs in PC hardware. :p

You're probably looking at the total (which factors in shipping and handling charges) instead of the subtotal.

What do you mean a bust? You mean you can't buy the ram on your own anymore?
Quote:Budget is $520. Still, pretty close.
So you raised it by $20?

I'm not sure it will be able to do 3x, probably, but I can't be absolutely sure. PC games will run A LOT faster on a GTS 450 GDDR5 or a GTX 550 TI though. I really wouldn't make that sacrifice if I were you.
