thje only issue of skyrim i want fixed is the hanging in XP
...and estbern needs fixing too (i fixed it by extracting has dialogue but thats a temp file imo)
@lamedude
Yeah, I was getting that a LOT. So I decided to use the frame limiter 'mod'. But unfortunately, it isn't really accurate.
Capping it to 60 will miss a few frames, so I put it to around 65 or so (to keep it above 60).
Now I don't have the annoying sounds when people lean or touch objects, nor objects flying at 160mph when I touch it by accident, or the flickering, or mouse issues.
@Taco
Yea Taco, I got there yesterday I think... did the same thing and passed it.
What hanging are you talking about?
in XP the game likes the randomly freeze (but often recovers after a few seconds) alot. and dont tell me its because of my hardware cause its not. my gpu hardware isn't used at max and neither is my cpu (and i doubt it likes to randomly freeze because of the high ram swapping cause that would mean it wouldn't freeze on lowest settings).
i read some things and apparently its a known issue
My mods folder:
Not a single crash since installing the 4GB address aware mod a few days ago.
Daco, why is Defragmenter pinned to the taskbar?
Also, don't save screencaps as jpg. Look at those compression artifacts!

*waits for HawaiianPunch to realize his mistake*
What did I do wrong? Was it the typo?
*looks around worriedly*

NV posted the screenshot. not me.
also, its an XP issue what i have
@NV
Woah, you already got a ton of 'mods' installed.
Have you used them all already? If so, did you notice any performance hits/increases?
I only have/had 3 'mods' installed. One to remove the blocky normalmaps, one that adds a nicer sun glare. And finally a FPSLimiter.
@Taco
Do you mean (if you monitor your FPS), it drops to 0fps, then resumes after a few seconds?
I had that too, in my first post when I played at Ultra, when I turned the camera, I 'froze' too.
It's a known bug now though yes.
So you're already on the lowest settings right? With vsync and all disabled?
