I got a pretty strange problem with this game.
Sometimes, the game crashes, but the music keeps playing, but only the music, i can't hear my char walking etc.
This also happens only on my new notebook with a ati hd 7690m xt, but the issue just appeared out of nowhere.
Can anybody help me with this?
I dont have the game but i've heard that the 7xxx series have driver issues
yeah, some modified driver i had before set the TdrLevel to 0, making windows not exit back to desktop if there's a problem.
Btw, i'm using the 12.7 beta drivers, but the problem is the same with stock ones.
Could you be more specific? When it freezes, does the screen turn black, or do you still see the game?
When/where does this happen? After a loading screen?
Do you have any mods installed?
Did you play with the CFG?
It happens randomly, doesn't matter what i do.
It exists to desktop, but i still hear the music.
Mods don't matter, as it happens with or without mods.
I didn't play with the cfg, but i just copied the game from my main computer since my dsl is pretty slow
I too had a random unprovoked bug recently. Suddenly, the sky randomly developed black patches as if the sky's textures weren't loaded properly. It didn't get fixed by walking into and out of buildings, but suddenly disappeared after being left paused for a few minutes. Fairly weird.
