right click on xenoblade, select properties, shot that.
it sounds like overheating install realtemp and watch the status bar while gaming
if the status is changing from "OK" to something else your cpu overheated
try checking that accurate vbeam emulation, check disable per-pixel depth, uncheck lock thread per-core and uncheck efb copies to ram (this is needed very rarely on some scenes only, you can enable it on fly).

i installed realtemp and played for a while, everything seems to say OK.. I'll try to get some cooling gel on my cpu when i have the time to test it.
the temps are not the problem
You sure nothing changed in your computer than? (any driver updates, etc)
A friend of mine had a problem of windows 7 updating the graphic driver trough windows update, installing microsoft's certified version of Nvidia driver instead of the one downloaded from nvidia site, causing them to loose performance on a lot of applications, and me to have to figure it out for them

yes I'm sure, the only change that comes to mind is that i moved the pc from one end of the room to the other. i though at first something must have came loose or something but i reseated and cleaned everything from the ram to the graphics card and cpu. And all of my other applications and games seems to be runnng fine, only dolphin.
I already reinstalled the driver of my graphics card, both clean but the results are the same.. I'm just about ready to give up..

Hey! that got it working again! alright! I don't know which of those fixed it but I'm not gonna mess up the settings to find out. thanks man much appreciated!
Meh. I hate these obscure solutions that come out from nothing. I learn nothing from them, and neither does the people who had the problem in the first place.
