Hi all
Im really tempted to buy a Nintendo Wii, I miss playing all the Mario and Zelda games! Problem is I am short on cash at the moment so was googling around and found Dolphin!
Ive been playing around with it for a while now but still cant quite figure it out.

Ive launched a few roms, Zelda Twilight Princess and New Super Mario Bros.

I am trying to play it with my 360 Wired Control Pad but its not working properly.

Would you mind taking a look at the screenshots below to make sure Ive got everything set up properly, and just point out anything I should change so that Dolphin will run games to the best that they can run on my system.. and play well etc.
And ofcourse I need my 360 controller setup properly too

Let me know if there is any other settings you need to know about and I will add those too

My system specs are

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Intel Core i5 2500k @ 4.2Ghz
8GB 1600Mhz DDR3 Ram
GeForce GTX570

Regards

Hey DStruct, first of all, what Dolphin revision are you using?
It looks a bit different than what I'm using, so I recommend you get a later build: like this for example.

You can easily setup your controls by first setting the Wii input to emulated wii-mote; then in the wii-mote settings put your xbox controller as the device or gamepad.
Then you can click on the button and move/press a button on your controller to change it. Don't forget to add a nunchuck/classic controller (should be in the same dialogue) and setup the keys for that.

I highly recommend you check out these threads which discuss the specific games you try to emulate:

Im using Version 2.0, thanks alot mate I will have a try
Possibly the newer version of Dolphin (e.g. 3.0) will have less issues getting the wireless controller to work. (The controller stuff was mostly redone.) If you still can't get it to work, you can try Xpadder.

(Just general advice since I don't know anything about the wireless Xbox 360 controller in Dolphin)
