new super mario is the only game i can get to run normal



AMD Phenom™ 9950 Quad-Core Processor, 2612 MHz
ATI Radeon HD 4870 1gig
5gig ram
win7 x64

what should i do or upgrade

Your cpu is a bit weak for heavier games (original phenom at 2.6GHz is about equal to a core 2 quad at 2.0GHz). Also we need your settings.
