also, i cleaned out my case (and fans!) last month, i doubt its dust
Cleaning is ain't enough, cpu coolers are really short living and micro-dust after few years of work is everywhere in it, there is no good way to clean it - specially from box(stock)Confused coolers.
I think U need one of theese:

Why not spend the money on a core2duo? Runs a LOT cooler and you'll be able to get fullspeed in Dolphin Big Grin

forgot to say i also oiled it with special oil last week
i know i need a new fan but the problem is getting a good one that will fit my case as its

42cm long,46cm high and 18cm wide.
that and my cables are a bitch (which in the end ill mod the case so i can hide them behind the mobo Tongue

and all the recent cpu fans work for newer cases (which suck air from under neeth the DVD drives) which is therefor a bit pointless for my case as i can't place fans under my dvd drives. that or they are to big Tongue
the only fans i can place are in the attached picture

anyway, now knowing where i can place fans and where i got fans already , where do you recommend i place fans and which way should they be blowing?
knowing that i'd love to have on in the side panel with this as guard Tongue
DOUBLE POST O NOEZ

i killed my mobo's cpu fan control (lol) but ofc the cpu now gets alot hoter (but no more noise! \o/ ). so i was thinking of just adding a (soft, not hard blowing) fan in the side panel blowing on the cpu

good idea?

i got a fan controller in my case, but most bios' dont boot a pc if a cpu fan is not connected to the mobo

or at least some do

EDIT: or place a jumper on the cpu fan connector on the mobo XD

disconnect your fan controller and plug your fan directly on the MobO ?
