rXXXX is a subversion revision number. Anything from git is going to be more recent than subversion. They have switched from svn to using git as the source repo. And yes, there have been some useful changes. You can see the commits in google code.

Sorry to butt in, but bizarrely enough, the main download page for the Dolphin Emulator hasn't been updated (i.e. taken the newly-numbered/new revisions into account) - http://dolphin-emu.org/download.html - why's that may I ask?

Am I right in thinking 3.0-84 is the most recent one at the moment?
