The A6 - 3400M will win in any heavily multithreaded application since it's a quad core (such as the benchmark SS linked). But the i3-2310 will win in any application with 2 or less threads such as dolphin. If you go with a sandy bridge cpu remember to get a laptop with a discrete gpu (actually that applies to the A6-3400m as well but most laptops with that cpu tend to have a discrete gpu in addition to the integrated gpu).
Although quite frankly I would recommend saving up money and getting a higher end sandy bridge cpu if you really want to play the heavier games like SMG2.
