It's not exactly that simple. Come back when you have a M.S. in computer science.
If you are on a quad-core CPU and you're getting about 50-60% speed with a CPU load of 50% then Dolphin is pretty much completely taxing out your CPU and the only way to get improved performance is to get a better CPU. There are many things that determine the performance besides how many GHz it's running at and how many cores the CPU has, since Dolphin only utilizes up to two cores. I'm sure many things such as cache come in to play when emulating.

It's frustrating, I know, believe me. I only have a dual-core CPU and can only play Gamecube games at 100% speed, but I'm still having a ton of fun and even Gamecube games look fantastic in HD. Especially Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. I was absolute moved at how awesome it looked the first time I booted it up in Dolphin with optimized settings.

i am sure it isnt. i was just saying hopefully it gets fixed.. Smile for people with quadcore, never said i wouldnt wait patiently.
You misunderstand me. I'm not saying it is difficult, I'm saying it is impossible. The developers have said multiple times that it is impossible in the sense that you will never be able to get dolphin to balance the workload between 4 cores enough where the speedup would be noticeable and still maintain proper emulation.
