No, and a load of other programs I used a lot decided they don't want to work full stop!
I know it's been over a year now, but i'm still struggling with the same issue and it's really bugging me, does anyone have any fresh ideas?
Have you tried runing on windows?

No not yet as I've not got a windows partition on my hard drive yet. I'd prefer not to have to do that, but I guess it's worth a try if nothing else solves it. Thanks for the suggestion!
So I've tried for most of yesterday and installing windows on my laptop just isn't an option for me considering the other uses I require from my machine. I'm sure the problem is something to do with shadowing effects, does this help anyone?

Surely it can't be? I've seen other people run games just fine on OS X. And for the first couple of hours after I first got dolphin I didn't have this issue, so something must have changed?
Use a VM or something to test if you must
