New game threads should be created using this template. When starting a new thread, just copy the bbcode from the bottom of this post and fill out the listed fields.
If you're unsure what information to put in each field, have a look at this thread for an example of a well-written game thread. Make sure to apply the thread template mentioned here, though, instead of copying that thread's design.
General guidelines when creating a game thread:
- Do NOT create separate threads for different regions unless there are some very significant differences between them. Usually the game threads for PAL and NTSC dumps contain lots of redundant information, so it really makes no sense to separate them.
- Keep the front page up to date! The more informative and up to date the front page is, the less likely newcomers will be to ask the same question over and over again on each second comment page
If you can't update the front page yourself, poke a moderator with a concrete improvement suggestion.
- Take some time when creating a game thread. A "hey, this game just came out yesterday... works fine on Dolphin!" thread barely is useful.
- If you want to create a thread but can't because you're not in the Advanced Users group, poke a moderator about it. If your thread meets our quality standards we'll publish it in this section.

Configuration
- Needed for emulation accuracy:
Stuff which isn't enabled by default but is needed to enable certain features of the game. Mention for each setting why it's needed.
- Possible optimizations:
Settings which decrease emulation accuracy but don't affect the game or only disable effects which aren't important for gameplay.
Both of these are relative to the default settings of the tested Dolphin build.

Version info of the tested build. The most recent official release should have been tested and should be mentioned here, optionally along with information about nightly builds.
Screenshots
Showing off HD rendering, glitches, or just general game screenshots. Optional. Do not directly include 1080p screenshots on the front page, instead put them in an attachment or better even just show thumbnails to an external host.
