Thanks for upping my esteem about my system everyone! I'll hang onto it, and just mourn my inabilities to play SMG 2 at full speed. I guess I could just pretend he's on the moon or something.

People with weak cpus don't enjoy SMG2 as much as we do. 
But hey don't throw away your hopes about smg2 at fullspeed on good cpus! Maybe someday Dolphin 4.0 will be out with many speed improvements and bugfixes.

Sure but a more powerful engine will be required

Latest versions are the most stable(almost no bugs) but they have admittedly sacrificed speed for this. You could try using earlier builds. I actually did, although it was for Monster Hunter Tri. More than a day of trial and error. No guarantees it would pay off, but in my case, it did tremendously.
