Right now, I have a core2duo E6300 @ 1.86ghz, and it's not cutting it, i'm only getting 50-70% on the metroid primes, and it's really annoying tbh lol. I was wondering, would the E6600 @ 2.4ghz be strong enough to play at 100% speed? I don't need all the fancy fancy settings, just everything on 1 (not including AA or whatever it's called). I just don't wanna go spend 60$ then find out it still won't work lol. Any help would be nice.

Also, buying a whole new computer isn't an option right now. So yea.

Oh, also (again..zzz...) I have a GT240 and 2GB RAM... So I know it's not those messing with the emulator, because back when I had a 8400GS and 1GB RAM, it was running at same speed.
If all you want to do is play at like 100% speed with no visual enhancements, a gamecube is cheapest..
