There have been one specific console that I wanted a complete collection for someday in my life.
One console that I have loved most of all I have owned.

It all started once upon a time when I was a lad way back.
I used to play it almost every single day in my early school years.

I'm talking about the SNES.

Back then I used to have the PAL machine and some games, some of them were complete with box and manual some just had the cartridge.
Then at 2007 I had to sell it off but it wasn't a huge loss.

2009 at 23 years of age I decided to start a real SNES collection and all of the games must be complete with box and manual and near mint condition.
But wasn't sure which region I wanted to bet on.

Simple huh!?! Not really...

At fall that year I was browsing along in some web stores and I found a true gem from the SNES era dirt cheap.
The game that started this huge search adventure was a Japanese version of Super Mario RPG and it was almost brand new.

Then it was settled, the more I looked at the Japanese versions the more I realized that this region was the one that I wanted to bet on.
A game isn't just the game but also the box and manual and the Japanese versions...well let's just put it this way they look so much better.
So nice colors and images.

After Super Mario RPG, Lufia II (Estpolis Denki II) followed shortly and then came the rest along with a nice used Super Famicom machine complete with two controllers.

Well I let the image below speak for itself, I still can't believe yet that this day have finally come.

(Some of you might not recognize the game at the bottom right but it's the Japanese version of Skyblazer, a game I have loved since the first time I played it all those years ago)

Guys guys I know that there is some games I might miss according to you. But this is as complete as it gets for me. What you see here is my SNES childhood and dreams, sorry to say neither of the other games you mentioned to me belongs to that. Heck I haven't even played any of the ones you mentioned. But yeah I can see your points, there might have been a couple of more titles that could had interested me. But it is as it is now. I'm from Sweden Extremedude2
iam missing secret of mana
Hmm Secret of Mana, a game I haven't played since a decade ago at a friends house.
I never quite got into that series.
I also remember seeing some game footage once of Seiken Densetsu 3 (Secret of Mana 2) which was never released outside Japan
Another praised Square game was Rudora no Hihou which also looked good.

As for the Final Fantasy games, meh never really liked them.

As from the first moment I saw pictures of Lufia 2 in a game magazine I knew that it had to be special, bombs, arrows and a hookshot. Almost Zelda for me in a nutshell.

But sure there is other big RPG's like Chrono Trigger, Tales of Phantasia etc. which looks really good.
And some would most definitely say that a collection isn't complete without them.

Ah well...
