really wish there was a way to force the game to run in ntsc mode like disc loaders do. it looks really good but after playing on the wii i can see the loss of smoothness.
Gonna try and overclock my Q9450 and see if that will solve my sound problems. After playing this on PC hard to go back and play the wii version.

Yep Sad
So was it ever made clear why the game does not support PAL60 in Dolphin even though it does on Wii?

That don't work. So far, the only thing that works is Fani's solution.

There is a fix to make it NTSC U, google it. I didn't try it, but it should work.
I'm getting random crashes too and have noticed the audio starts to crackle if the FPS dips below 18 or 19. I tried the Game Booster method and gained 4 FPS. The game is unplayable for me though because of the random crashes. It kills the enjoyment always having to save so often and worrying about a crash so I'm going to resume play when there is a fix for the crashes. JITIL recompiler is too slow for my PC.

I'm using the settings outlined in the post below:

Try "VBeam" to speed up a little bit ! Tongue

@Vegeta: Use my settings: http://img28.imageshack.us/img28/4810/dolphinsettings.jpg.
Things like "4x AA" slow down a lot.
LLE on thread should fix the sound bug, but it also slow down a lot. It rarely happens to me (the bug), so leave it unchecked.
You should be able to play it a lot better than me, and I got 15-20 with JITIL. (22-25 without it, but with a lot of crashes) You should be able to play it 20+ with JITIL, which is perfectly playable.

@dis: WTF is that? o.0
Found it. lol Never saw that before... o.o

kkyonko

I have been having crashing issues with this game also. I have tried a few different revisions and have also tried some of the settings that were posted in this thread. I was looking through the Dolphin log file and saw that every time the program had crashed, I was getting errors like this:

32:55:810 .\Src\OpcodeDecoding.cpp:334 E[Video]: OpcodeDecoding:Big Grinecode: Illegal command 0d
32:55:810 .\Src\OpcodeDecoding.cpp:334 E[Video]: OpcodeDecoding:Big Grinecode: Illegal command 35
32:55:810 .\Src\OpcodeDecoding.cpp:334 E[Video]: OpcodeDecoding:Big Grinecode: Illegal command 0d
32:55:810 .\Src\OpcodeDecoding.cpp:334 E[Video]: OpcodeDecoding:Big Grinecode: Illegal command 01
32:55:810 .\Src\OpcodeDecoding.cpp:334 E[Video]: OpcodeDecoding:Big Grinecode: Illegal command 36

Did you tried using JITIL? It's slower, but so far is the only option that works.
