Are you using 3D9 or 3D11? I remember i had lot of crashes with 3D11 on NTSC version.

Hi all,

This is my first time using Dolphin. I tried running Xeno on a few builds, from 3.0 to some of SVN's including the recommended r7676_L102_x64_ICC, yet I'm still having problem with the audio (stuttering, skipping, etc). So now I'm left wondering whether my computer is supposed to run this game on any of these builds or not. I really have no idea. Here's a link to my laptop's specs:

Code:
1.6 (up to 2.9) GHz Intel i7-720QM Quad-Core Processor
8GB DDR3 1066MHz; 4 SODIMM Sockets; up to 8GB
1TB (500G 7200RPM x2) HDD; Blue-Ray Disk Combo Drive; 802.11 b/g/n
17.3-Inch Full HD LED Display; ATI 5870 Graphics with 1G GDDR5

(It's Asus G73JH from the RoG series)

So should I even be near this emu or game with those specs or not? if so any help or tips with the audio would be appreciated.

Yes, i've tried the SVN 7676_L102_x64_ICC and have'nt any sound problem too.

But have you -ever- had the sound problem on any revision? It might just be a super fast processor is able to bypass it altogether, but I'll still try the revision out when I get the game I guess.

No, i've only tried these two revisions.

Running on 30fps wonderful here.

How do I import the save please ?

[/quote]

hi there well in the wii/title folder place it in the folder wher u can find your monadon1 or something like this save.. well its easy if u allready saved for one time then just search for "monadon" and put my savefile in the folder..

its a jap savegame but it will work like a charm.

im running around with my l80 max super bossfight gear and until the half of the game no normal enemy will attack u, just some elites and the are vaporized in 2-3 seconds Wink

with the newgame+ u can choose an amount of items u want to start over again.. i have mostly the best possible gear because i allways used the trick that after a fight with an elite he drops a high level chest, u save in fornt of the chest and then open it, if it contains crap or stuff for your other characters, just reload and baeeeemm the chest is still there with random new gear inside.. this is important so u can get all the books and the super rare items.. i sometimes did this for more than half an hour until i got perfect contend

25fps is alright but despite only being 5fps short of 30, ntsc versions are still way more smooth than their pal counterparts. Supposedly, I think enabling progressive scan and/or using the pal60 option should make this run at 30fps but I don't know why it doesn't work. Maybe a bug in the emulator?

It's running fine here, it says 120% speed but it appears to run at the same speed as the JP version (which I have played through as well). There will be a speedup in the audio if LLE is used, but otherwise it seems to be fine...
Well, overclocking did the trick for me, haven't had any audio issues after doing it and I only overclocked to 3,2GHz.

Yeah, I got used to the speed and going back to 25fps just felt clunky. Using HLE fixes the sped up audio but I don't know if that causes problems later on
I test a few hours, Dolphin-r7676_L102_x64_ICC

and it's excellent , I even UNDERclocked my GTX470 @455/910/1255 (mini), 2500K@4.2Ghz

It's the best version for me.

setting untouched, 2 * native ° aax4, aniso16X

Excellent

If you have an Intel processor test it Wink
