I get random slowdowns but i'm sure it's my pc needing a format. Otherwise I run this at double size with 4AA and 2 Anisotropic in window mode just fine, no audio problems with HLE.

My problem is, after fooling around ingame for about an hour or so the emulator crashed with no message, just closed.

I have dolphin 3.0 but where do I find the rev number?
Thank you very much psbt.

What do you mean caused by the Dual Core ? Once deactivated you don't have any crashes ? What rev are you using, do you have the NTSC-J Patch to get sound bug fixed ?

And there is a huge difference between 25 and 30fps in overall smoothness,
I recently played my Super Mario Sunshine Pal with Dolphin. First boot up ws with 50hz/25fps mode and it feeled kinda slow and not fluid. I restsarded the game with 60hz/30fps and suddenly it ran great.

But how you restart it with 60hz/30fps? I tried to limit de fps to 30 but the game run too fast. I just got my collector edition and on the box it shows 50/60Hz compatibility.
Is there a way to force it on 60hz like on the WII?

Yes, exactly. This happens to me with all games, not only xenoblade. Random crashes every 20-30 minutes completely vanish and games run smooth.

7688 like someone suggested pages ago... i heard the SVN builds have the patch integrated, but it doesn't seem to work for me. Where can i find and how can i apply the patch?

I've put around 3 hours into this so far, no crashes. Only one Cutscene gave me audio issues (Players talking sounded like it was echoed) and that might of been due to me turning off FPS Limit.

I'm using Revision 7436 with the following settings anything else is left at default.

Code:
HLE sound plugin Xaudio2 options enabled :
- HLE Audio
- DTK Music
- Audio Throttle
- 48,000 Hz

Direct3D11 plugin options enabled :
- Load Native Mipmaps
- EFB Scaled Copy
- Copy EFB (texture)
- Accurate Texture Cache (Fast)

My system specs are

Code:
i5 750 @3.6GHZ
ASRock P55 Extreme
Ati 4890 (At stock speeds)

Runs at 25fps constantly at 1080p so I'm very happy.

can somebody please post the ntsc-j patch or give me some advice about it because i cannot find it. im new to this dolphin stuff but i have figured out everything and even have this game running perfectly besides audio glitching that only happens when the framerate drops REALLY low (which is understandable) or when i've been in a menu too long (which is not understandable but considering this is an emulator it is what it is). it also sometimes seems to happen when the bgm has been playing for too long. my settings are good now though its totally playable and if the audio does mess up i simply save, stop emulation, and reload save and its back to normal. i just want to see what the patch will do but like i said i cant freaking find the thing and i am usually good with my googling lol.

btw im running a dual core and the game runs at a solid 24-25 most of the time. the intro battle cutscene was pretty bad though. It ran just fine but the audio was staticy as alll hell.

this is my exact laptop im using - http://forum.notebookreview.com/asus-reviews-owners-lounges/432016-asus-g72gx-rbbx05-laptop-best-buy-model.html

if anybody has advice for me i'd love to hear it
The sound gets all staticy sometimes, after a battle, which forces me to restart Dolphin.

Is there any way to fix it? I tried using LLE but that removed a lot of the background sounds.

yes indeed. I just testet the japanese version with the exact same settings and it feels so much smoother with 30fps...

Might be a large problem if you're on a 60hz device as well. 25 doesn't go into 60 evenly, which is why I was really glad to buy my new 120hz tv after watching blu-rays. First time I watched dark knight on it I was amazed because everything was smooth and I realized the weird jitter 3:2 pulldown from before had become normal for me. Maybe it's something similar? I don't really know if game fps translates like movies in this situation.
