Define "demanding". I think you mean to say demanding on the GPU and not the cpu (thus making a good gpu benchmark). The golden standard for that right now is: http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=14201

Your GTX 460 1GB is more than enough for even 4x IR.

No such thing, you must mean MSAA.

Actually, I meant 16xQ CSAA; I just checked.

Anyway, thanks for the link to that topic.
my system ok for Dolphin? Will I get cpu bottleneck?

i7-950 @ stock
2x GTX 460 1gb (SLI)
6gb 2ghz
Rampage III Extreme

Thx!!
Probably not, but keep in mind Dolphin wont make use of your Crossfire setup.
Quote:will I get cpu bottleneck?

Yes but that's perfectly normal. Dolphin is a cpu heavy application so the cpu is almost always the bottleneck.

Fixed that for you.
Woops. I won't make that mistake again. Nvidia>SLI, ATi>Crossfire.

Will I be able to play wii games?

HTPC:
e8400 core2duo 3.0ghz
4gigs of ddr2 ram
Nvidia 220 GT 1gig vram
Windows 7 64bit

I've played a few game cube games on it @ 720p on a older hdtv without issue on dolphin, but I'm wanting to hook it up to my 1080p LCD tv and play games with the wiimote.

The Laptop: Dell XPS 15
2630QM i7 2.0ghz
6gigs of ddr3 ram
Nvidia 540m GT 1.5gig vram
Windows 7 64bit

I could use this instead.

Ill try to over it to 3.7ghz!
@gatecityradio

Your HTPC is fine for GC games and SOME wii games. Some wii games may have performance issues. Your video card is pretty weak, but you'll be fine as long as you leave your internal resolution at 1x or 1.5x.

Your laptop will run dolphin a bit slower overall but you'll be able to raise your internal resolution a bit higher.

Thanks for the reply, I'm planning on getting a better mobo (so I can overclock and get ddr3 ram) and a 560GTX soon.
If you're getting a new mobo you should get an LGA1155 board and upgrade to sandy bridge. That will improve your system a lot more than any overclock would as far as dolphin is concerned.
