Darkrah

Hey all,
I need to buy a new laptop anyway but want to be able to use Dolphin on my next laptop, which is not something I can do with my current one. So not knowing anything about this kind of thing. Would this be a good laptop or not? Please give me advise on this. The specs are near the bottom of the page.
Thanks
Darkrah

God no. Since you've already posted here I would continue using this thread for the time being but you should really make a new thread for this sort of question next time.

Ah sorry. Hmm what do I need then? I don't want to spend any more money than I absolutely have to.
Thanks
Darkrah
AMD E-300 is like Intel Atom
You won't able run any game on that laptop
You should spend at least 600-700$ for a laptop that has Core i5 CPU (prefer Turbo Boost to 3.0GHz or higher) + a discrete GPU from AMD/Nvidia
If you have $3000+ spare, you could get a laptop which would almost be a good as a $700 desktop in dolphin. It'd weigh a tonne and last about 10 minutes off battery, though.

To know what the minimum you'd have to spend would be, we'd need to know which games you want to play.

Then don't buy a laptop. They are much more expansive then desktop pc of the same pefomance.
What I mean yes you may find cheap laptop, but it will be much worse then cheap desktop.
You can forget using dolphin on cheap laptops.
If money is tight, desktop pc is really the only option. Gaming laptops are for people with money to spare
*Suddenly remembers*

Yeah. Among other questions. I delayed answering it because I was busy that month then you disappeared so I forgot all about it.
