*Sudden flood of high school memories
Between proxies, gaining administrative access, and booting from live CDs we drove the IT department at our high school crazy.
Quote: I even got it to the point to where I could browse through other people's My Documents folders. I used this to send my friends files that they needed when I didn't have a flash drive.
Yeah we did that to. I even remember somebody making a script that installed counter strike 1.6 on every single computer in the school. Good times....

Yeah, this is why I like these kinds of forums. XD Some of the people in my school did that. They pissed off the IT department to the brink of insanity. It was funny.

Me and a friend of mine figured out a series of CMD commands that could allow us to view the main Admin username and password. I used to bring in Linux Mint Live CD's and bootable flash media. That was funny. I also liked messing with people by taking a snapshot of the desktop, deleting all the icons, and then hacking the snapshot into the server to be the wallpaper. (The schools like using server logins in order to make it "easier" for the IT to manage the computers) Then I watched the fun begin as the poor soul who used the computer next kept trying to click on the non-existant icons. XD
On the subject of Dolphin: When I was picking out my computer, I definitely did NOT want what the IT department picked at my old High School. Those hunks of junk would freeze on internet explorer. (I prefer Chrome and I hacked it into the server's apps one time, I can't do that now that I'm in college and they have a different setup) I wanted to make sure I got decent enough specs to at lease get me somewhere with Dolphin. The PC I am on right now is one of those netbooks. Yeah, not gonna happen on this crappy machine. XD
Okay, so I got the computer I was talking about. It runs Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess, and Wind Waker perfectly.

It didn't even lag on the part where the forsaken fortress was first visited in Wind Waker. (that cutscene where link was on the ship looking at the place) This is perfect! It only loses about 3 frames in demanding areas in Skyward Sword.

This PC was well worth the money.

By the way, thanks NaturalViolence for all your help.

I really appreciate it.
I just got Radeon 5770 with 1GB RAM: what are the max. video settings this card can handle in dolphin without any stuttering or hiccups? Is 3x IR possible with 16 AF and some AA?
16x AF and 3x IR are possible (according to the list, even 4x IR should be possible).
@ ICAC123
i have a 5770 as well and i do 3x res & 3x ssaa option (or is it 4x) /w 16 AF on my Wii & Gamecube games max speed.
some games like SSBB i need to drop AA to none or lower res to 2.5x res.
hope this helps
Newbie here, want to know if my specs can run Dolphin at full speed with 4xAA and AF
I play No More Heroes 2, works perfect with 3xIR and no AA. But when i add 4xAA i have serious slowdown in cutscenes, but not in other areas
I know HD 5670 is not a good card, but can it run some AA in Dolphin without slowdown ?
Dolphin 3.0 x86
Intel i7 3770k 3,4 GHz
Z77-3DH Gigabyte
Kingstone 4 GB RAM
HD 5670 1 GB
Your Gpu cant handle 3xIR and 4xAA.
