It's not possible to update as it's a special driver for an arcade cabinet. But as Dolphin is the only emulator having this problem (and I have installed A LOT of other emulator, even PCSX2 does not have any problems with zbuffer) I think there must be a little bug in Dolphin...
Try 3.0. If you're still having problems then it's on your end.
Rate my GPU?
I have the XFX Radeon HD 6870 1024 GB
Any idea what I can/can't run? (GPU specifically, just assume I have the most powerful CPU Wink"
Where's my limit with that GPU? Is it good for dolphin?
So far I've had very little problem with running dolphin, and when I have had problems, I blamed my CPU... Was I wrong to blame my CPU (i5 2500K) rather than my GPU?
Thanks
Coral.
Anything besides 4x IR and 9x AA.
How would the GTX 560 se perform?
Supposedly it is equivalent to an HD 7770.

Gee if only there were some kind of neatly compiled list of what settings each gpu can handle. Have you seen anything like that recently?

More than enough for 4x IR.

No. A 550 TI is much closer to a 7770 in performance.
Does that mean that the 560 SE is actually inferior to the GTX 550 TI?Huh
No. It's significantly faster than a 550 TI or 7770, just look at the specs.

Try the ZWW 'Forsaken Fortress' test:
-------------------------------------------------
Play the game until you get to the place where you see (an overview of) the Forsaken Fortress for the first time.
Skip through the dialogue until you get to the point where Tetra says: "Ah! I knew it! Look! Over there! By that window!"

Set the internal resolution to 4x and see if your GPU is powerful enough to render this demanding "window" scene @ 30 or more fps

For 4xIR without any AA @ 30+ fps you need a fairly powerful GPU (a HD6850 is the bare minimum).
The smoke / fog effects in ZWW are brutal.

Then add some SSAA or MSAA (depending on the backend) and enjoy the slideshow Smile
Little update needed, the topic says that the minimum card from GeForce 400 series needed to handle 3x internal resolution is the GTS 450, but I have a GT440 that works very well at 3x resolution, some games also runs good even at 4x on this card...
