which video card i need?
First, sorry my bad english.

I play wii on dolphin with some little problems. I need know how videocard i need to play dophin with 100% in games like The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess , Mario Galaxy...

My pc is:
Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64 bits
Motherboard: MSI MS-7680
Intel® Core™ i5-2300 CPU @ 2.80GHz, 2801 Mhz, 4
RAM 8,00 GB

Again, sorry for my english.
For 480P ? 720p ? 1080p ? or 1080p < (x) < 4k ?
Price ?
Nvidia GTX 580 can run 100% speed at (x) resolution
and
Nvidia GT 520 can run 100% speed at 480p
Although that is true please don't recommend the GT 520 to anyone. It's a media center card with some special video decoding and audio output features that the other cards don't have but its performance is MUCH lower than any of the other cards in the same price range. The HD6450 is more than twice as fast for the same price.
Is there any point in boosting the internal resolution higher than your monitor can support. If my monitor maxes at 1080p, why should I overwork my graphics card to display a resolution much higher than that when I won't be able to see it?

I think it will still reduce aliasing if you do so...
It will make textures (especially distant textures and textures at a oblique viewing angle) appear sharper and reduce aliasing. In other words it does the same thing that increasing your internal resolution normally does, it just won't be as noticeable once you go past your screen resolution because you can no longer represent each rendered pixel with a physical pixel.

Hey guys, I'm sure you get sick of this but I gotta ask about video cards. I'll include some pictures to spice things up! Big Grin

I'm building a full function home theater system box. Windows 7, Blue Ray, pretty much EVERYTHING you'd ever want including a 7 channel amplifier. Basically, it's the only box you need for your entire home media setup. Just plug in a TV and your speakers. Now I'm looking to stuff the Wii into that box as well by way of the Dolphin emulator. I want it to play in 1080p on a 50" TV via HDMI. What PCI card do you think would be required to do what I need?

Win7 64bit
Intel i3 Clarksdale 550 Dual Core
8GB RAM
PCIe SSD for OS and programs
2TB HDD for Media

I will have to move some speaker terminals to free up a PCI slot. Below are some chassis porn for you guys.

Also, since I'm running out of slots on my MoBo it would be ideal if it was PCI and not 16x if possible. If it requires 16x I will have to sell my PCI SSD and use a regular one.

What does that mean exactly?

And holy crap, I need a card that's that serious? How are guys getting away with such smaller cards?
