It's keeping good temp and using the nvidia card, but the games just aren't running at a playable speed.

I have all the settings optimized for speed, I can't think of anything else I could do (besides overclock)
What's game btw
Check CPU clock speed with realtemp when running dolphin
It won't say, the area where the speed should be is blank. I'm running through things trying to find an alternative atm
Oh, sorry. Forgot to mention: I've been running through 3 games: Excite Truck, Okami, and No More Heroes.
Try CPUZ
Nevermind , Those 3 games above are CPU intensive ....
Well damn. Seeing as Okami is literally the only wii game I want to play, I guess I'm just SOL. Thanks anyway for your help, I'm sorry my lack of information wasted your time.
I have a RadeonHD4350 video card with only 8 gigs of bandwidth, and im still able to run both resident evil 0 and REmake in 2xIR with no almost no performance loss. How do you explain this OP?
I'm assuming you read the post therefore I'm assuming you read these parts?
Quote:The first thing you need to understand about the video card requirements of dolphin is that it varies a lot from one game to another, one operating system to another, one backend to another, and from one configuration of settings to another.
Quote:So keep in mind that the video card requirements are not the same for every game, what you see below is merely the the average for most of the more demanding games.

The data used to construct the list came from a mario kart wii benchmark that was done awhile back. No video card with vram bandwidth below 12 GB/s was able to achieve 60 fps average in the benchmark.

Yes but both REmake and RE0 are among the most demanding titles correct?
No. Try RE4.
A potential typo I am trying to point out:

A: Because it's an emulator, you're not running the game directly. Also settings like internal resolution and SSAA allow you to render a much higher resolution image than you would with a PC game if you set them high enough.

Given the answer you provided here (especially the comparison with PC games), isn't the question supposed to be something like
Quote:Why is Dolphin so demanding on my CPU?
or
Quote:Why is Dolphin not using my GPU heavily enough?
or
Quote:Why is Dolphin more demanding on my CPU than on my GPU?
?
