maybe he is trying to use it on a workstation with only user rights?
on work while his sparetime?
or daddy is strict with the user rights on his Ultra Rig?

there are enough reasons for 0.1% of the portable software user Wink

I am trying to run dolphin on a laptop with only user rights, it has the VCOMP100.dll was not found issue.

My main pc runs it fine, brilliant emulator by the way, awesome to run the wii games in HD and being able to use proper controllers for NSMB (so much better looking on the telly then from the actual wii)

Any ideas on what i need to do to get it to run with only user rights?

Thankyou all Smile

Thanks, i have read that one, know how to get it working if i have the rights to install the direct X updates and runtimes.

I'm after getting it to run from usb / cd - without actually changing anything on the laptop, which i believe the original poster had working

Cheers Smile
This could be useful to running Dolphin on Lan Houses Tongue
Not that I have any interest in this, just another potential use for this thing ^^
