So make a script to repeatedly left click? I don't think it would be that hard to get around that.
This game frustrates me. I see snipers that can get instant easy headshots and precisely scope in on a head that is the size of one pixel across the battlefield. When I try to do that I never scope in where I am aiming and by the time I adjust my aim I am dead from an enemy sniper. A lot of players play exceptionally well even with low playtime or less playtime than me which frustrates me even more. I don't know what to do to improve my aiming but if there is something I don't think I could ever be as precise as some of these players. It seems like everything I do is delayed, enemy demos can spam stickies and detonate them faster than me, enemy snipers can scope in on my head and headshot me quicker than I can headshot them. Sometimes I do alright such as when I have my team with me or I am 1 vs 1 with mediocre players.

Also other player feel the need to be such douchebags and rub it in you face that they are better and you suck. Then if you get pissed they say, "Umad? It's just a video game". Doesn't that seem a bit ironic?
How to enjoy the game:
-Play with good people on good servers

How to get good at sniping/headshoting/quickscoping:
-Be young
-Play CS or other hardcore fps for many years obsessively growing up
-Practice constantly
-Get a good mouse
-Maintain a low ping
-Practice constantly
-Turn off any mouse acceleration and/or smoothing
-Use an optimal sensitivity
-Ensure your system maintains high fps and no microstuttering
-Practice constantly

Good aim and speed won't make you a good sniper though. There are other things that are just important like position, staying on the move, helping team members, avoiding enemy spies and snipers, not giving away your location unless necessary, and being aware of your surroundings.

Lately I've been playing on other servers. But it seems there is a plague with TF2 where the majority of players especially the more skilled players have what is called Douchebagitis. It seems to be spreading like wildfire and finding a new server to play in is not enough to combat it. I went to play on new servers and eventually ran into the same players I tried to get away from. They are like a disease, migrating between servers.

I never had the luxury in doing this. I didn't have a PC growing up let alone one that could play games. I was already an adult by the time CS:S came around. I grew up playing various Nintendo and Sega games. I didn't have money for a PC that could play games until 2008 then in late 2010 built my current system. I never played many FPS games and any I played were on a console or with a controller, KB/Mouse felt awkward to me after using a controller for so long.

Check to all of the above. I get a lot of practice considering I don't have a job and am technically a social recluse. Yet I don't feel like I am going to get any better.
Stop playing sniper then? I suck at sniper too which is why I don't play it. I'm not willing to put the time in to get better with such a steep skill curve.

And that's why you're not a good sniper. There is no shame it in. I have an irl friend who is a fantastic sniper but he grew up spending almost all his free time playing CS 1.6 and later source as a kid/teen. So with that it mind it makes sense. He developed the hand eye coordination of a god in source games. Just like learning a language it helps when you do it at a young age.

I suspect you're simply playing tf2 too much and don't get enough of a break from it as a result. I was easily irritated in tf2 as well back when I played it constantly and was only working one day a week at my part time job.

I have a small list of servers that I know are good that I frequent at the optimal times (when the clan for that server is on). This has allowed me to get to know the members of those communities on a more personal level and has made the experience far more enjoyable. If on the rare chance someone is giving us trouble we just kick/ban them. I usually don't play on other servers or at other times.

The problem is that I always idle in a console window Sad

It doesn't work in -textmode anymore anyways.
Use VMs.
That defeats the whole purpose of saving resources :p
