Nu uh

Edit: Sorry I lied :p

If you opt into the Steampipe beta there is a possibility you will most likely be banned if the server is running an outdated version of Sourcemod Anti-Cheat. The only servers I know of that are safe to join and play on are Skial servers.
What's the process of becoming part of a clan? :o

I am fairly decent but I guess not good enough to be invited to become part of a clan. In the screenshot below, is that not considered good? I also can do pretty well as stock Pyro and my sniper skills while not comp level are pretty decent. At least I am good enough to keep up with clan mates on Skial servers and have been receiving more attention from medics. It would be nice to enter into a UGC tournament and get a shiny medal although if I go that far I would want to assemble my/our own clan.

Small update this morning to the Steampipe beta. Changes include reduction in memory usage that caused instability and fix players getting banned on servers with an outdated version of Sourcemod Anti-Cheat and fix custom hitsounds with Steampipe beta.

I suggest to join the beta asap as there is literally zero issues if not using custom content and huds. The conversion process will take a while and is similar to re-downloading the game so if you wait until the update goes live next week it's very likely Steam servers won't be able to keep up. But if you already opted into the beta you won't have to fight with other clients for bandwidth and will be able to play almost right away. Startup time is much faster as well as map load time and there should be a reduction in memory usage.
