I played Medieval mode last night. Such a broken, unbalanced mess. I've never seen so many cowardly Huntsman snipers standing way back spamming arrows at the enemy team. It wouldn't be so bad if all classes had some kind of long range weapon allowed in Medieval mode, but only Medic and Sniper have weapons allowed in Medieval that can deal lethal damage from a distance. Also the Demoman with his charging shield and OP melee technically makes him OP compared to other classes in Medieval mode. At least in Normal game play most classes aren't limited to melee only so a charging Demoman isn't really an issue. Spy can still insta-kill in Medieval but that isn't much of an issue since getting kills as a spy takes a bit more work than other classes but may be slightly OP considering other classes don't have an insta-kill melee unless crit happens, any flame thrower weapons, flare guns, jarate is out of the question in Medieval limiting ways to deal on demand crits. Technically the only way to deal crits is with the spy knife, Buffalo Steak Sandvich as a heavy, Huntsman headshots, charging as a Demo-knight, random crits whenever they decide to happen. But most if not all ways of achieving crits isn't instant like it is with the spy.
