Ok, I finally got TF2. Anybody wanna play?

Well, i was surprised to find out my computer was above the minimum specs required to play this so i'll try downloading it.....i wonder how many months it'll take Sad

My estimate indicates a little over 9,000 months.

My Intel Ironlake IGP gets 20-40 fps in MVM and 40-60 fps in normal play on minimum settings at 1280 x 800 resolution under d3d9c. If I ran the game in d3d8 mode it would probably boost performance further.

Your GMA 950 will run it but it will really struggle. You'll likely need to run the game at 640 x 480 and d3d8 mode to get a high framerate. But it's doable.

I've convinced one of my friends to give TF2 a try now that he has a desktop that can actually run it well. With Zee530, Garrlker, and him + me, extremedude2, and xteme2damax we could form a 6 man team for MVM. We would have to train them though, which would take some time.
