well that's all I'm willing to trade XD
I tried to warn you but you went ahead anyways. :/
Can you post links to the profile of the scammer or scammers? Preferably the 64-bit id (the one with numbers) so even if they change their name or url you can locate them. Also report them to Steamrep (if they haven't been reported):
http://steamrep.com/
Also report them to Valve asap as Valve will investigate and trade ban them which will delete their backpack ensuring they won't be able cash in on your unusual hat, only if they haven't traded the hat to a mule account. Provide all the evidence you can, I hope you took screenshots of the trade and the chat. Don't expect Steam support to help you get your hat back, I went through everything with them and they still refused to help me get back my scammed unusual. Only way you'll ever see it again is to track the hat and either:
A. Brute force into the account in possession of the hat.
B. Trick the scammer into giving the hat back, much like they do to everyone.
Welp I have the hat's ID, but can't figure out how to track it

Post a link to the scammer(s) accounts, check trade history. Also, have you listed the hat on any trading websites such as TF2Outpost, TF2B etc..?
Alright, so just click on the item in the trade and it should list the account that is currently in possession of the hat. The only flaw with this is that it won't work if the scammer set their profiles to private.
Well someone else did get pics of him try to scam so at least someone has proof that he is a scamer now

I set up a local server, let's play some Doomsday.
